AND NOT ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERS AT THIS TIME

Cultivate your own unique view of the world
Learn new ways of perceiving and creating meaningful images
Deepen your understanding of self by studying your images
Learn what your images communicate to others
Learn and share tips about photo composition and
 the technical aspects of photography
Learn how to improve your images in an encouraging, 
 respectful, and inspiring environment


The Camera Arts Club of Petaluma meets from 10 a.m. to noon on the second Saturday of each month . Activities include  group discussions, photo assignments and club field trips. Members have the opportunity to share photos and discuss them during our monthly meetings and also in a Yahoo discussion group. (Access to the Yahoo group is only available to members.) Please bring three prints of your work (eight by ten inch or larger) to every meeting, one photo for the photo assignment and two photos of any subject you choose .   There is a yearly membership fee of $50.


In reviewing our photographs, please consider three questions:
1. What are the strong points of this photograph?
2. What would make this photograph stronger?
3. What does this photograph say?
